Mentoring
A God given relationship in which one growing Christian encourages and equips another believer to reach his/her potential as a disciple of Christ.
We should be seeking to receive an impartation of knowledge, wisdom and skills during your own relationship with a mentor.
Discipleship
Before Jesus ascended to heaven, He gave this final command, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
Matthew 28:18 - 20
All disciples of Christ are called to "go and make disciples." What is a disciple of Christ? Those with a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Do you know Him? Or do you know about Him?
It is the Holy Spirit who transforms disciples into being more like Christ. Marks of a disciple are to be assured of Salvation by grace, daily surrender, and a life of obedience to God.
