What We Believe

We Believe the Holy Bible to be the inspired Word of God and accept it as the only infallible guide and rule of our faith and practice.

We Believe in the Eternal, Omnipotent, Omniscient, Omnipresent, and immutable Triune God, Master of heaven and earth and all that in them is, and the unity of the Godhead, three persons equal in every divine perfection and attribute, executing distinct but harmonious officers in the great work of redemption.

We Believe God the Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Godhead, co-existent with the Father, sent by the Father through the Son, Jesus Christ, to reprove the world of sin.

We Believe the Plan of Redemption, that Christ was the Lamb of God, foreordained from the foundation of the world, and by the shedding of His blood on the cross made provision for the salvation of all men from Adam until the end of the world.

We Believe that water baptism by immersion in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost is commanded by God, that it is subsequent to, but an outward sign of, an inward work and should be by the request of the convert, not as imposed.

We Believe in the commemoration of the Lord's Supper as a type of the broken body of our Lord Jesus Christ; and as an ordinance showing forth the death and resurrection of our Lord; and looking forward to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.

So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming.
